Big Hair

I have always longed to have tons of thick hair, you know the kind Denise Richards or oh say my good friend Diana Calderon has! Oh the many different ways to style it.
But no the good Lord gave me thin baby fine hair just like my  Mama and Daddy!
Ladies if you have hair like this...get a short very layered style and do not be afraid to use root lifting product! It makes all the difference in the world.
But I say all this to say that I am glad to see that even Julie Chin from the Talk has flat hair in New Orleans Weather! YES even those with covet worthy hair still look, I would not say like crap...but less amazing in humidity!!! Yipee

I was a bit lost!

I decided I would become a blogger, then guess what?! I lost my password AND username! That is right I waited so long since the last post that I forgot everthing! BUT I am BACK and ready for action! I hope!

Justin and I really are blessed to have what we do, 5 acres may not be a lot but for now its perfect. Sitting out on our front porch is pretty amazing, the nights have been cool and very few bugs. Well, except for the 3 year old one laying on the porch looking at the stars singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Yes it is past her bedtime if she can see the stars, but hey it's Friday night. Listening to the crickets churp may annoy some, but it is the sound of peace and slow living to me.
Being able to raise our daughter in a small community is exactly what Justin and I hoped for when we talked about the future after we got married, 8 years ago.

My 1st Blog!

Well I thought I would give this blogging thing a try, I know I am a little late to jump on the bandwagon...don't judge. I tend to start things and never quite finish them....like the insanity workout, but we will see how this turns out. I am Jessica, wife to the Amazing Justin Rister, and Mama to my full of life Raelee, Christian and  as it turns out I am a decent Mary Kay Lady as well! Not to toot my own horn or anything. ;)
